Muhammad is the messenger of Allah’ in Arabic); around, ‘ṣalla – [Allāh] – ʿalayh wa – sallam’ (‘May Allah bless him and grant him peace’ in Arabic); illegible date formula in the margin. Rev. Citing the joint ruler Khalil (AH 742-744/AD 1341-1343) around the field legend, ‘al-khāqān al-ʿādil / Qāzān Tīmur Khān / khallada Allāh Mulkahū’ (‘The Just Khaqan, Qazan Timur Khan. May Allah perpetuate his kingdom’ in Arabic); around, ‘Sulṭān – Khalīl – …’ (‘Sultan Khalil’ in Arabic). Album 2004. Rare. Struck slightly off center and with areas of weakness, otherwise, very fine.
